A senior surveyor at leading chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows has been promoted to associate partner.
Stuart Bridgewater, who has more than 10 years’ experience in the West Midlands property market, joined the firm in 2011 to focus on national retail agency including acquisitions, disposal and investment sales.
Now, as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary, the 36-year-old has moved up the career ladder. It comes just weeks after the Birmingham-based firm promoted two partners, Angela Sheen and Ian Starbuck, as part of its ambitious growth plans.
Stuart, who moved to Johnson Fellows after spells at Jones Retail, DTZ and Burley Browne, said: “In the three enjoyable years I have been here I have seen Johnson Fellows go from strength to strength.
We have performed well for a number of key clients despite difficulties in the commercial property market over the past years. We have managed to develop our client base and in the process have won some high profile instructions. I am also encouraged to see that as a business we are taking advantage of improving market conditions and I believe we have a great future ahead.
“It is gratifying to see everyone’s commitment and hard work paying off and I am very pleased indeed to be appointed associate partner, which was the next natural step in my career.
Earlier this year, the Newhall Street practice took over Salway Bradbury, which was based in Solihull, consolidating further its reputation on both the regional and national stage.
