We are thrilled to announce that we have been instructed to provide property management services at a major office development in Birmingham city centre.
We will provide a full range of property management services at Quay Place – a canalside development, near Brindleyplace, comprising more than 101,000 sq ft across six office buildings.
The development has recently been purchased by a private client of Philip King & Co. The property management services will include rent and service charge collection, service charge budgeting, asset and lease management, tenant liaison, facilities management and compliance.
Property management partner Ian Starbuck said: “Our property management team is really energised after securing the instruction at Quay Place in Birmingham city centre. It is a wonderful office development in an excellent location. We are looking forward to delivering our property management services and working closely with the tenants.”
He added: “Our team of surveyors has a huge amount of knowledge and experience of managing an extensive range of office, retail and industrial properties throughout the UK. Our client base includes a wide mix of landlords, property companies, pension funds, private investors and national multiple retailers. To add Quay Place to our portfolio is a major achievement for us.”
Quay Place is a multi-let office scheme, situated off Edward Street on the west side of Birmingham’s CBD. It benefits from key business links and excellent access to the city’s premier leisure, entertainment and conference facilities.
It comprises six office buildings situated around a central courtyard totalling 101,589 sq ft with 186 car parking spaces, all in a prominent and picturesque setting.
Quay Place currently has nine tenants across the site, with the main occupier being The University of Wales. With vacant space totalling circa 24,000 sq ft there are opportunities for asset management and to add to the existing diverse mix of occupiers.
