Leading chartered surveyor firm Johnson Fellows has continued to strengthen its building consultancy team with the appointment of an associate building surveyor.
Greg Meadwell’s appointment as associate partner will enable Birmingham-based Johnson Fellows to set up two teams within the growing building consultancy department. One will focus on professional services and the second will concentrate on projects.
Johnson Fellows partner Andrew Rowson said Greg, who joins the company from the Birmingham office of AA Projects, will primarily assist Anthony Foster in the professional team.
His role will include handling schedules of dilapidations for landlords and tenants, schedules of condition, pre-acquisition surveys, stock condition surveys, party wall issues, health and safety, and expert witness instructions.
“He brings with him a wealth of experience, which complements the expertise of the team,” said Andrew. “By growing the building consultancy division, we are putting into place our carefully planned expansion strategy. It’s an exciting time for Johnson Fellows.”
